SFBEvents are pleased to announce the first guests for the SF Ball 18.
Joining us will be Kate Vernon and Michael Hogan. Together they are best known as Ellen and Saul Tigh in the hugely popular, re-imagined series Battlestar Galactica. Also joining us, back by popular demand, Torri Higginson from Stargate: Atlantis.
Canadian born Kate followed in her father's footsteps to become an actor. Her many projects during her 25 year career have cemented her reputation as a highly adaptable actress who is able to portray a variety of complex characters.
Kate's career began with the highly successful soap opera Falcon Crest before being cast in the roll of Benny Hanson in the John Hughes teen classic Pretty In Pink. Her other notable rolls include Star Trek: Voyager, CSI, Bones and Heroes.
Michael Hogan is one of Canada's most respected actors who has won countless awards during his acting career. His TV and film credits include Dollhouse, Numb3rs, The Day The Earth Stood Still and Warehouse 13.
Michael is also an accomplished voice actor, lending his voice to the video game industry, providing his voice in the games Mass Effect 2 and Fallout:New Vegas. He will next be seen in the retelling of Red Riding Hood produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.
Torri is best known for her role as Dr Elizabeth Weir in Stargate:Atlantis. Her other TV and film credits include TekWar, The English Patient, Storm of the Century and NCIS.
